I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
